Teskey - Live at The Rhythm Room - 2026 release
Teskey's epic performance captured at the historic blues venue, The Rhythm Room
The latest from the acclaimed Phoenix, Arizona-based blues-rock trio is "Live at The Rhythm Room," their debut live recording, recorded at Bob Corritore's beloved, historic, and iconic music venue. This high-octane recording features a mix of reenergized tracks from the band's acclaimed 2025 debut, "White Wolf," as well as new songs destined for their highly anticipated new album, "Blue Dreams". The explosive recording also includes a remarkable interpretation of the Blind Faith classic, "Can't Find My Way Home". "Live at The Rhythm Room" showcases a band that is daring, bold, and unafraid to take chances, pushing the boundaries of studio recordings to their breaking point-and way beyond-delivering hard-hitting guitar-driven blues rock with enormous versatility, boundless passion, and irrepressible energy.Their cohesiveness as a group and the band's musicianship carry the performances. Teskey looks back to the raw, soulful traditions of classic blues-rock while incorporating contemporary influences—a band rooted in the past but eager to shape the future.
Throughout the electrifying and intoxicating performances on "Live at The Rhythm Room," Brandon Teskey's dynamic fret work weaves in and out like a Desert Kingsnake. His collection of vintage instruments—including a 1965 Gibson ES-335, a 1966 Fender Telecaster, and his 1965 Fender Stratocaster—lends a distinctive personality to every song. Brandon's use of a vintage 1966 Marshall JTM45 and a Custom Audio Electronics OD-100 enables him to switch seamlessly between heavy, riff-driven blues rock, fiery solos, and intimate, soulful moments.
Matt Baldwin-bass and backing vocals - and drummer Brandon Gaddy are a solid, experienced, high-energy foundation, working seamlessly with lead guitarist and vocalist Brandon Teskey to deliver powerful, dynamic, and cohesive performances.
The entire live album takes the listener on a "sonic odyssey" - a fascinating 50-minute journey through Teskey's own sonic universe, blending genres, textures, and moods.
From the hard-hitting blues rock opener, "Blue Dreams," to the show-stopping "Lemon Tree"—which reimagines the original acoustic track from "White Wolf" with enormous fire and brimstone. While "Under The Sun" is explosive and combustible, high-octane blues-rock, one of the band's new songs, "Find Me When It's Over," is nicely done, giving the band plenty of room to stretch, with a bluesy edge.
* "Give My Love Back To Me (The Answer)" pushes the band into a soft and soulful groove, a deeply moving ballad, and another wonderful new song that packs plenty of powerful emotions.
* "Don't Take My Angel" - A soul-tearing,heart-wrenching and riveting performance, actually a beautiful hymn set to music,a wonderful departure for the band with a deeply personal backstory - Brandon Teskey learned that his wife had been diagnosed with cancer,a year long battle and recovery that lead to the writing of this poignant song.
* "In The Garden Again" is an interesting new track that finds the band stepping even further into the netherland,a bit of folk-rock and psychedelia happily blending together - while the bands reintrepretation of the Blind Faith classic,"Can't Find My Way Home" features a soul-stirring performance from guest vocalist TonyNoys.
* "Upside Down World" is taken from "White Wolf",a traditional slow blues, given a new life as the band stretches out even further, giving each member plenty of room to create something truly special,a showcase for this band outstanding and enviable chemistry.
* " White Wolf" , the albums title cut from the bands debut release, and a fan favorite,is even more incendiary here,an explosive blues-rock anthem with plenty of hard-hitting guitar work.
* "Cast Aside Child" is loud, raucous, and raging,a wildly inventive Hendrix-style blues-rock,a song that imaginatively channels the psychedlic heavy blues rock of the late 1960's and early 70's.
"Live at The Rhythm Room" is not only an outstanding live album, giving listeners worldwide a chance to enjoy the pure fire of an incredible band, but it also offers the opportunity to share the lasting friendships, collaborations, sense of community, and authenticity that are all part of the long-standing legacy of Phoenix's most beloved musical institution. Lively and spontaneous, with plenty of heat, Teskey has created a powerful and uniquely original musical statement on their latest, "Live at The Rhythm Room". The prescription is to crank this one way, way up, played as often as possible, over and over again. The future of the blues is in very good hands indeed!!
