Sean Chambers - Florida-born guitarist,singer,songwriter began his career in the Blues back in 1998 when he toured with the legendary Hubert Sumlin as his guitarist and bandleader until 2003. During Seans time with Hubert , Britain's "Guitarist Magazine" named Sean Chambers as "One of the Top 50 Blues Guitarists of the Last Century" . The warm friendship,close mentorship, and working relationship between Sean and Hubert lasted until Hubert died in New Jersey, from heart failure,at the age of 80 , on December 4, 2011. Learning much from Hubert , Sean continues to explore the possibilities of electric blues guitar. He doesn't hesitate to create new sounds and techniques on his instrument , always playing from the heart , filling in the spaces of his fret work with emotion and passion . He has certainly drawn inspiration from Hubert Sumlin's distinctive guitar techniques but has developed a strikingly original blues-based guitar style all his own . Knowing that "As a player it's not what you play,but what you don't play" , Sean feels the blues deep in his soul , reaching into every listener's very heart , each note an equally important part of the whole.
"Sean Chambers Live from Daryl's House" features the iconic and infamous Savoy Brown Rhythm Section of Pat DeSalvo on bass and Garnet Grimm on drums. Sean and Savoy Brown all became friends after playing a festival together in 2019.The legendary Kim Simmonds passed on in 2023 but was in full support of the collaboration between everyone and gave the three members of Savoy Brown his blessing just before he died .
